In this workshop, we’ll learn about plant fiber cordage. We’ll be making two-ply reverse-wrap cordage with Apocynum Cannabinum (Dogbane or Indian hemp).

Rekindling Awareness is meant to grow and change with us as we grow and change. We are also open to suggestions to better meet the needs of our communities.

Our winter offerings are limited as we are currently in seed germination time.
Future offerings to look forward to are Friday afternoon/evening games and awareness activities at the park in spring. Megan is currently dreaming of different activities to support different forms of human awareness. We will be working with vision, balance, hearing, and intuition to learn more about ourselves and our world. Some potential activities will include slack-lining, eye yoga, and scout's sword.
Rhonan will offer classes in cordage and friction fire as well as one and one instruction for those who want a personalized experience. Classes will also likely begin in spring and one on one instruction can be scheduled through text or email.
Also in the spring, plant walks with Nance Klehm will resume.
Currently, Rhonan has a limited number of buckskin bracelets for sale with salvaged leather and roadkill fox bone clasps.
Megan is available for mind-body therapy at Bridgewrights Integrative Physical Therapy in Uptown in Chicago.
